Food – Important necessity for Life
Food is the basic and important necessity
for everyone. We all earn money only to eat healthy food. Among 5 basic
necessities of life such as air, water, food, shelter and clothing, food plays
a crucial role next to air. We all need to eat atleast 3 times a day to
maintain our body and manage our daily functions. There are 2 categories of
people and we can define them by saying ‘survive to eat’ and ‘eat for
living’.
Here, we can see the importance of food
in life,
1. Vegetarian
food: These products are obtained from trees
and plants. All varieties of fruits, vegetables and also milk fall under this
category.
2.
Non-Vegetarian food: These
include stuffs like fish squid, meat and meat product, chicken, beef and lots
more. These are gained from animals.
3.
Nutrition: Nutrition
in food is very important and without this, people can’t survive for longer period.
It is important to take food rich in nutrition as it helps to nourish cells in
our body that is supportive for functioning of routine activities.
The above said points are very crucial
and reflect on the importance of food in life. Finally, to conclude, as long as
living beings are alive, water and food play an important role.
